Come and hear stories of queer experience in Gloucester, collected and performed by local young LGBTQIA+ people
SUPPORTIVE AUDIENCE WANTED!
Come and hear stories of queer experience in Gloucester, collected and shared by local young LGBTQIA+ people.
This is a placeholder block to set a narrower width for easier-reading body copy.
Show your support to the young people involved in the sharing – and stick around at the end for drinks and chat.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Low key, living room, chill vibes, cool, safe
- Sharing/WIP style
- 40 minute (ish) sharing, 10/15 minute Q&A after
- We’ll have drinks after (non-alcoholic), so people can hang about for 20/30 mins or so after to chat
THE BACKSTORY
For the past 8 weeks, a small group of aspiring storytellers alongside Kristine Landon-Smith & Associates have been meeting up and learning how to make brilliant audio interviews.
Together, they’ve collected LGBTQIA+ stories from across Gloucester – and been learning the art of listening, capturing, recording, editing, producing and sharing compelling candid conversations.
