STRIKE A LIGHT YOUTH THEATRE X COMPLICITÉ

WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?

Enjoy a 30-minute performance from some of the incredible core members of Strike A Light Youth Theatre, then stick around for a chance to meet the cast and creatives over some sweet treats!

In a small, independent kitchen at the heart of the city, something’s gone wrong. The delivery van never arrives. The shelves are bare. The owner finally breaks the silence: Strike A Light Kitchen is on the brink of collapse.

Thrown into chaos, the staff must confront more than just empty cupboards; their lack of community. Can they band together to save the kitchen?

Get ready for something original, bursting with creativity and driven by young voices. Every idea, every character, every moment comes straight from the brilliant minds of these local teenagers. We’re so proud of our talented young performers – don’t miss your chance to come along and show them your support!

An ensemble piece devised by Strike A Light’s Youth Theatre, in association with Complicité and directed by the company’s associate artist, Mae Munuo. Strike A Light Kitchen is an exploration of community and connection when everything else falls away.
