Multiverse is a free full-body VR experience with cloud-like visuals, special bodysuits, guided breathing, and immersive sound.
WHAT is it?
Enter a virtual world of cloud-like shapes set against a black 360° background that transforms into a glowing galaxy of stars.
Wearing a VR headset, headphones, and a special jacket, you move your hands, arms, and body through soft, swirls of cloud.
Watch as the clouds form a human shape – dancing, changing, and responding to your presence.
As you explore the Multiverse, a gentle voice will guide you, explaining what to do and introducing you to the interactive parts of this beautiful VR world.
Now, let us welcome you into the Multiverse…
- Recommended for ages 12+. Those aged 10-12 can take part if they are accompanied by an adult
- Participants will put on a VR headset, headphones and polyphonic jacket that are provided in order to take part in the experience
- The experience is not suitable for people prone to photo-sensitive seizures, those with cardiac pacemakers, defibrillators, or other implanted medical devices, or those who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Saturday 30 August & Sunday 31 August, open 10:30am – 5pm
- The experience will last approximately 8 – 10 minutes

This event is Free. Anyone is welcome!
- This is a drop in event – no booking required
- Spaces will be allocated on a first come first serve basis
- Slots are approximately every 10 minutes and up to 3 people can take part at once
access
- The vibrating sound jacket provides a sensory experience for hearing impaired individuals
- Seating will be available for those with limited mobility (you can stay seated throughout the experience)
- There are accessible toilets at Gloucester Quays
- Assistance dogs are welcome
