Help make a show about homeless mermaids, polluted seas and rock and roll!

Drop-in Half Term Workshop
*ticket booking only needed for each child aged 7+*

Renowned stand-up poet and lo-fi theatre maker Jonny Fluffypunk presents a brand spanking new little show for families, with poetry, puppetry, story, song and a healthy dose of anarchy.

Jonny wants your children’s help! He’s making a show about homeless mermaids, polluted seas and rock and roll and he needs to plunder small, wise brains for views and ideas and moments of wonder.

Join him for drop-in workshops at Gloucestershire Libraries to write message-in-a-bottle poems and letter-poems-in-a-suitcase and other sorts of poems- and daft songs, too. You can even make a shadow puppet mermaid for Jonny’s shadow puppet theatre-in-a-suitcase.

Coming Spring 2020, Art Of Libraries supports The End of the Pier Show, which fuse’s elements of spoken word, theatre, comedy, music, puppetry and audience interaction. Among other things, it promotes the understanding that together, we can often achieve things that are impossible alone.

Age guidance – 7+
