Meet The Team
Emma Jane Benning

Emma Jane is Co-Artistic Director. Her focus is on working with artists, companies and community members to create our year round programme of performances.

Sarah Blowers

Sarah is Co-Artistic Director. Sarah leads on producing artists and performance projects, creating partnerships, and fundraising.

Christina Poulton

Christina is the Executive Director at Strike A Light and manages the general running of the organisation, and our artist support programme.

Charlene Olaleye

Charlene is our Youth Arts Producer. She leads on all of our workshops and performance opportunities with children and young people and local schools.

Jessica Gibbs

Jess is the Assistant Producer. She looks after front of house and box office for our events and manages our team of volunteers, as well as supporting the team with marketing and project management.

Ben Whitnall

Ben is Marketing Manager, looking after our website and social media and spreading the word about all our shows and events.

Callum Graham

Callum is the Production Coordinator. He looks after the technical requirements for all our events and works with venues and companies to make sure shows run smoothly.

Philippa Smith

Philippa is our Community Producer. She works closely with Emma Jane and local groups to put on events in community spaces and encourage new and diverse audiences to come along.

Ellie Maynard

Ellie is the Marketing and Admin Intern, a post supported by the Community Fund. She works closely with Ben and Jess to make our events happen.

Scott Hurley

Scott is the Events and Tech Intern, a post supported by the Community Fund. He works on the events management and tech side of things to help make shows happen.

Aimee Lewis

Aimee is currently undertaking a creative internship with Gloucestershire Libraries and works with us one or two days a week supporting creative projects happening in libraries across the county.

Winnie is the office dog. She is in charge of sniffing and naps.
