Normally, we do stuff live, in-person, in unusual, exciting venues across Gloucester. Obviously, we can’t do that at the moment. But we think it’s more important than ever to keep sharing experiences in this time of isolation.
So here’s a line-up of fantastic creative events and experiences you can get involved in even while we’re in lockdown. And you can also see some of the live, in-person events we’ll hopefully be able to bring back later in the year (depending on government guidance, of course).
We’d also love to hear from you about the sorts of things you want to see happen when lockdown starts to lift.
Halima is a Gloucester-based poet and long-time friend of Strike A Light. During lockdown, she worked with her local community, encouraging people to write and record their experiences. This is what she collected.
Strike A Light, Create Gloucestershire and Cheltenham Festivals have hand-picked 8 fantastic local artists to each come up with a unique, creative way for isolated people to feel connected during lockdown. Get involved!
