Free training and production course // 8 weeks: Wednesdays, 4 October-22 November // JOLT Studios GL1 1RP
Come and take part in a unique, FREE training course leading up to a live public performance – sharing real stories of LGBTQ+ experience in Gloucester
Every Wednesday night, for 8 weeks, join a small group of other aspiring storytellers and learn how to make brilliant audio interviews.
Together, we'll collect LGBTQ+ stories from across Gloucester – and learn the art of listening, capturing, recording, editing, producing and even performing (!) compelling candid conversations.
You'll get access to recording equipment and editing tools, coaching from KLS Associate Artist Charlotte Everest and the chance to meet other interesting people in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
We'll meet for the rehearsal/training sessions in JOLT Studios – every Wednesday evening from 4 October to 22 November.
Anyone interested in telling (with compassion, empathy and care) the stories of LGBTQ+ people in Gloucester
You might've seen (or come along to!) our Queer Watch event last year. Check out some of the footage of that event to get a flavour of the vibe and the crowd:
There are only 15 places available – so make sure to sign up quickly so you don't miss out!

The sessions will be led by Zariq Hanif – a local artist and a Strike A Light Community Producer – and Charlotte Everest – a KLS Associate Artist.
