Strike A Light is a non-venue-based organisation, which means rather than having our own venue we get to use some really exciting spaces around the city to put on events and performances.

We aim to work with accessible venues to ensure that all audiences can enjoy all of the events that we put on.

Venues for 2019-20

Gloucester Guildhall

Address: 23 Eastgate Street, Gloucester, GL11NS

Access: Lift from street level and from King’s Walk car park level 4. Two accessible toilets, wheelchair lift to access main performance space on level 2.

Parking: King’s Walk Car Park, GL1 1EA (free after 5pm and direct access to the Guildhall via lift).

The Redwell Centre

Address: Redwell Road, Matson, Gloucester GL4 6JG

Access: Ramped access into the building, no stairs within. One accessible toilet.

Parking: Free car park at the venue.

 

All Nations Community Centre

Address: Chase Lane/Eastern Avenue, Gloucester, GL4 6PH

Access: Ramped access into the building, no stairs within. One accessible toilet.

Parking: Free car park at the venue.

 

Blackfriars Priory

Address: Ladybellegate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2HS

Access: Ramped access into building. Wheelchair accessible lift access to upper levels. One accessible toilet.

Parking: No on site parking. Closest parking at Ladybellegate Street Car Park and Longsmith multi-storey car park.

 

Matson Baptist Church

Address: Matson Avenue, Matson, GL4 6LA

Access: Ramped access into and around building. One accessible toilet.

Parking: Free car park at venue and free on street parking.

 

Gloucester Cathedral

Address: 12 College Green, Gloucester, GL1 2LX

Access: Ramped access into and around building. One accessible toilet.

Parking: No on site parking (except for 8 bays for blue badge holders). Closest parking St Marys Square and Hare Lane South Car Park. 5 minute walk from King’s Walk Car Park, GL1 1EA (free after 5pm).
